The Panic Cycle

Recovery Program

A personalized one-to-one program

designed to help you break the cycle of panic

and retrain your nervous system

for lasting stability.

Why Panic Persists

Panic attacks rarely come out of nowhere.

Even when they feel sudden, they are usually the result of patterns that have been developing over time — often outside of conscious awareness.

In many cases, the root of panic is not immediately visible. It is shaped by earlier experiences that were never fully processed at the time they occurred.

When the mind is still developing, it does not always have the maturity or the tools to understand and integrate certain experiences. As a result, the emotional charge of those moments can remain stored — not only at a subconscious level, but also within the body.

Over time, the nervous system learns to respond in a protective way.

Situations, sensations, or internal states that resemble those earlier experiences can begin to trigger the same response — even when there is no real danger in the present moment.

This is why panic can feel confusing. It does not always make sense logically, and it is not always linked to something obvious.

But the pattern is real. And more importantly, it can be understood and changed.

Through clinical hypnosis and targeted subconscious work, it becomes possible to access these deeper patterns, update how they are interpreted, and gradually retrain how the nervous system responds.

As this process unfolds, the intensity of panic begins to reduce — not by suppressing it, but by resolving what has been driving it beneath the surface.

Client experience

“For years, I lived with panic and constant fear of being trapped in certain situations. Even simple things like lifts or public spaces felt overwhelming.
After the first session, I already felt calmer and slept properly for the first time in a long time. As the process continued, something shifted. I was able to go through situations that previously felt impossible — without panic. I finally felt in control again.”

Why this program is different

Most approaches to panic and anxiety focus on managing symptoms. They teach techniques to calm the body, control breathing, or challenge anxious thoughts.
While these tools can be helpful, they often do not address why the pattern continues to return.

This program takes a different approach.

Instead of working only at the level of conscious control, it focuses on the underlying patterns that drive panic — at both a subconscious and physiological level.
Panic is not random. It is a learned response within the nervous system. And what has been learned can be updated.

Through clinical hypnosis, NLP-based techniques, and mindfulness integration, this process works directly with how the mind and body have stored and learned to respond to certain experiences.

This allows us to:

•access patterns that are not always available through conscious thinking

•update how past experiences are interpreted internally

•reduce the intensity of automatic fear responses

•retrain the nervous system to respond with greater stability

At the same time, the process remains fully personalized.
No two individuals experience panic in exactly the same way. Each person arrives with a different history, different sensitivities, and different triggers. For that reason, each session is adapted to your specific experience — allowing the work to go deeper than a standardized or one-size-fits-all approach.

The goal is not simply to manage anxiety. It is to change the pattern that sustains it.

a personalized process

Panic and chronic anxiety do not follow a single pattern.

Each person’s experience is shaped by a unique combination of life events, emotional responses, learned patterns, and nervous system sensitivity. For that reason, effective work cannot rely on a rigid or standardized approach.

This program is structured to provide direction — but designed to adapt to you.
Since 2010, Karin Momberg has worked with thousands of individuals experiencing panic and chronic anxiety, using an integrative approach that combines clinical hypnosis, NLP, and mindfulness-based techniques.
The process unfolds across six sessions, each one focusing on a key stage in understanding and retraining the panic cycle.

At the same time, the work remains fully personalized. Each session is guided by your specific experience — the situations that trigger anxiety, the patterns your nervous system has developed over time, and the underlying factors that sustain the cycle. Rather than applying generic techniques, the focus is placed on what is most relevant for you.

This allows the process to go deeper, address the mechanisms that maintain panic, and support meaningful, lasting change.

The Panic Cycle Recovery Program at a Glance

The Panic Cycle Recovery Program unfolds across six sessions, each one guiding a specific stage in understanding and retraining the panic cycle.
Rather than overwhelming the system with change, the process progresses gradually — allowing the mind and body to integrate each step in a way that feels stable and manageable.

Each session builds on the previous one, creating a sense of continuity and direction. As the process unfolds, patterns that once felt automatic begin to shift.

Responses become less reactive, and the nervous system starts to experience a different way of relating to sensations that previously triggered panic.

How the process unfolds

Session 1 — Understanding your Pattern

We begin by exploring your personal experience with anxiety and panic.
Together, we identify the patterns, life experiences, and nervous system responses that have shaped your panic cycle — creating a clear understanding of how it operates for you.

Session 2 — Introducing Hypnotic Work

In this session, we begin working with clinical hypnosis to access deeper emotional and nervous system patterns that are not always available through conscious awareness.

This allows the process of change to begin at a deeper level.
While the structure provides clarity, the work within each session is adapted to your individual experience — ensuring that the process remains relevant, focused, and effective.

Session 3 — Subconscious Reprocessing

Here, the focus shifts to the internal associations that sustain panic.
Through guided therapeutic work, the nervous system begins to reinterpret sensations and experiences that previously triggered fear — allowing a different response to emerge.

Session 4 — Retraining Nervous System Responses

As new patterns begin to develop, we introduce practical ways to support regulation in everyday life.
This stage helps the nervous system become more stable, reinforcing the changes that are taking place.

Session 5 — Strengthening Emotional Regulation

As confidence grows, many people naturally begin to re-engage with situations that were previously avoided.
This session supports that process — allowing you to move through those experiences with greater ease and stability.

Session 6 — Consolidating Long-Term Stability

The final session focuses on consolidating the changes achieved throughout the process.
This helps the nervous system stabilize new patterns, supporting lasting resilience and a sustained shift away from the panic cycle.

investment

Recovery from panic attacks and chronic anxiety does not happen through quick fixes. It requires a structured process that allows the nervous system to retrain how it responds — at both a conscious and subconscious level.

The Panic Cycle Recovery Program is designed to guide that process in a clear, focused, and manageable way.

The program includes:

A six-session one-to-one therapeutic process, combining clinical hypnosis, NLP, and nervous system regulation work. Each session lasts 60 minutes and is adapted to your personal history, triggers, and patterns.

How the process is paced

Sessions are structured to support both progress and integration.

•The first three sessions take place weekly, building momentum and creating early shifts in how panic is experienced.
•The following three sessions are spaced every two weeks, allowing the nervous system time to stabilise and apply these changes in daily life.

This rhythm supports deeper and more sustainable change.

A different kind of work

This is not about managing symptoms. It is about understanding and changing the patterns that sustain panic at their root — so that the need to control or avoid gradually loses its intensity.

Why timing matters

Many people wait until panic becomes more limiting before seeking support. In practice, the earlier the pattern is addressed, the easier it is to change.

A thoughtful and supportive process

Beginning a therapeutic process can feel like an important step, especially when anxiety or panic attacks have been part of your life for some time.
Many people who arrive here have already tried different approaches and may feel uncertain about what will truly help.

For this reason, the consultation is designed as a space to explore your situation calmly and thoughtfully. There is no pressure to commit to the program during this conversation.

The goal is simply to understand your experience, answer your questions, and determine together whether the Panic Cycle Recovery Program is the right approach for your needs.

Taking the first step toward understanding your panic patterns can already bring a sense of clarity and direction.

next step

If you are considering this program, the next step is a brief consultation. This is a simple, focused conversation where we explore your experience with panic or chronic anxiety, and whether this approach is the right fit for you.

There is no pressure to commit.

The purpose is to gain clarity — for both of us. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, understand how
the process works, and get a clearer sense of what change could look like in your specific situation.

If it feels aligned, we can then move forward and schedule your first session.

Apply for a consultation to explore whether this program is the right next step for you.
